Spring is in the air

Spring brings new growth, weeds out the bad, and makes room for the beautiful. Celebrating the new year can mean a variety of things for different people.

For some incoming freshman and transfer students at FIU, a new year means new adventure, new relationships, and more memories.

From January 26- January 28, a group of incoming students embarked on a exciting journey to Panther Camp. This spring session was filled with laughter, love, and most of all new beginnings. Our students were able to build relationships with other incoming students as well as refine their leadership skills. Through small and large group activities, students discovered FIU’s traditions and culture.

Besides the fun that was shared throughout the weekend, students created lasting relationship with peers and grew in their knowledge of the university: two key factors that allow students feel more comfortable with their transition to FIU!
